I was born in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island in 1956
and grew up fishing the area. At an early age, I fished
the creeks of Nassau County and the lakes and rivers of
North East Florida .
In my adult years I’ve fished those same waterways
in addition to off-shore fishing, jettie and the backcountry
tidal creeks of Amelia Island the most. Stalking tailing
reds and a trolling motor mounted on the bow of my 22’
Angler Grande Bay boat proves valuable in stealthily moving
anglers around oyster beds of tidal creeks to cast for feeding
fish.
I’ve worked in the service industry for the last 20
years and believe in giving my guests the quality service
that they deserve. I’ll make every effort to provide
a good, relaxing, no-hassle experience.
I’ve also volunteered as a Little
League coach, a YMCA coach, and a swim team judge so I’m
comfortable with youth on board. I am a U.S. Coast Guard
licensed Captain and a member of the Florida Guides Association,
the National Association of Charterboat Operators. I am
also is a member of the First Coast Fly Fishers Club.
In addition to chartering fishing trips, I also do some
leather art work. Friends and family have noticed that all
of my work has a fishing theme. I’m into fishing!
Check out some of my work for a one-of-a-kind gift for the
angler in your life.
